Stellenbosch University is delighted to award the DAAD Molecular Biology and Human Genetics (MBHG) Scholarships to exceptional African Students who plan to pursue a career in teaching and/or research at a higher education institution in Sub-Saharan Africa.
The DAAD In-Region Scholarship Programme aims at fostering strong, internationally oriented higher education systems in Sub-Saharan Africa with the capacity to contribute to sustainable development.
Application Deadline: 15th March 2021 by midnight

Type: Master Degree and Ph.D.
Value of Awards: Fully-Funded
Number of Awards: 9
Eligibility: To be eligible, applicants must;
- be Sub-Saharan Africans (excluding South Africa) who want to participate in a study programme (MSc or PhD studies) at the Division of Molecular Biology and Human Genetics.
- have high school certificates with a good academic record.
- be proficient in English Language
Application Process: To apply for this scholarship applicants must complete the Online MBHG DAAD Scholarship application form, and submit all required documentation, as outlined in the MBHG DAAD Scholarship Call document for review by the MBHG review committee before the internal deadline midnight, 15 March 2021.
