This according to the government, is to enable school principals and teachers to prepare for the return of students, as the country fights the second wave of  COVID-19.

The state governor, Willie Obiano, who made the announcement during a broadcast in the state on Tuesday, January 12, further declared that COVID-19 protocols must be observed by all and sundry in the state to avoid a total shut down of the state.
